To the base ticket price, which included one 20 kg checked bag, I added an extra 20 kg checked bag for 229 PLN, plus a sports equipment transport option for 288 PLN. In total, I paid 1114 PLN.

Naturally, the ticket price varies depending on the size and weight of your luggage.
For my trip, I travelled with a kitesurfing board measuring 156 cm in length, approximately 50 cm in width, and 15 cm in height (including straps).
Additionally, I brought a kite and a substantial amount of luggage, as I was flying for a three-month stay.
I had three bags in total. My kitesurfing board bag also contained my kite, bar with lines, harness, two wetsuits, shoes, flip-flops, other essentials, and a foldable trolley for transporting gear.
My second piece of luggage was a travel bag packed with clothes: t-shirts, trousers, underwear, shoes, a summer jacket, a sleeveless jacket, and shorts. The third bag was my carry-on, which I kept with me on the plane, holding my laptop, camera, electronics, a book, and a few small personal items.
If you're bringing sports equipment to Tenerife, ensure it's properly packed in appropriate bags for your flight. This is crucial for airport staff to allow it for loading onto the aircraft.

it's always a good idea to call or write to the airline's helpline to confirm the exact dimensions (height, width, circumference, weight) required for your specific baggage.
For example, you'll likely pay different fees for transporting a kitesurfing board, a bicycle, or a windsurfing board.
I'm deliberately not listing specific dimensions, prices, or baggage insurance costs here, as these can vary significantly between different carriers.
However, I must highlight one important point: I once encountered a situation where I received two conflicting pieces of information from the same airline.
I had contacted a low-cost airline to inquire about the cost of transporting my kitesurfing board.
On one day, I was quoted one price, and on another, a higher one. It was clear that the staff weren't entirely confident in their responses.
For peace of mind, I opted for the more expensive option.
Only later did I discover that the cheaper option would have sufficed.
